Using the logo

Every WellPoint logo contains the WellPoint "Flag" in a fixed relationship with the logotype. This unique combination forms the core of WellPoint's visual identification. The text in the logotype has been created specifically for WellPoint and should never be replaced with another typeface.

Minimum size

To preserve the clarity and integrity of the WellPoint logo, a minimum size guideline has been established to protect the detail and legibility. Never reduce the logo smaller than .35" as shown in the space below. Whenever possible, the logo should be used larger than this.

Use proper clear space

Clear space is the area surrounding the logo that must be free of any graphic elements or text. Minimum clear space equals X where "X" is defined by the tallest capital letter height in the WellPoint logotype. Clear space surrounding the logotype should be at least equal to the minimum allowance, however, additional space is optimal.

PANTONE® colors

When you are able to print using PANTONE®* Color Inks, you should use PANTONE 280 and PANTONE 193 (exceptions are noted below). The standards are shown in the current edition of the PANTONE Color Formula Guide.
