Getting to your doctor


We don’t want transportation issues to stand in the way of getting the healthcare you need. That’s why we work with Modivcare in New Jersey to help you get to your medical appointments.

Scheduling a ride


Modivcare provides non-emergency medical transportation services for NJ FamilyCare members. Rides to appointments must be scheduled three days in advance. To schedule a ride, use the ModivCare Medical Transportation website, or call them at 866-527-9933 (TTY 866-288-3133).

Non-medical transportation for MLTSS members


New Jersey MLTSS members may qualify for the additional benefit of non-medical transportation such as getting a ride to church or the grocery store. If you’re an MLTSS member, call your Wellpoint Care Manager at 855-661-1996 (TTY 711) for assistance.
